An excellent history of railway in the region, provided by passionate and dedicated volunteers. A must see, but allow a few hours for the tour.

If you are interested in local history or railways this is a fascinating place to visit. The guided tour of the old railway workshop area, and the opportunity to go into the old railway carriages and steam engines was brilliant. The evening Light and Sound show is also worth seeing for further insight into the history of this region.

Very informative. Great host showed us around and explained the history and workings of the roundhouse. The evening Light Show was fantastic. A definite must-do if you are in the area.

Highly recommended. We took our 3 kids 5,10,12 and they all loved the tour. Guide was very informative.
